About
007 Legends is a James Bond shooter that runs 007 through one mission from each film era — Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill and Die Another Day, with Skyfall added as DLC — all framed as a dying flashback while Bond sinks into a river after Eve's errant sniper shot.
Built on Unreal Engine 3 by Eurocom, the studio behind the 2010 GoldenEye 007 remake; it reuses that game's feel but was critically panned and was one of the last projects before the studio closed. Daniel Craig's likeness is used for Bond across every era.

⚙ Setup notes
Game: Eurocom's 2012 James Bond FPS (Unreal Engine 3), delisted when the Bond game licence moved on. The launcher executable is Bond2012PC.exe (confirmed via PCGamingWiki / file databases).
Proton: Community reports it runs under Proton 8.0+/GE-Proton; older Proton builds were borked, so use a recent GE-Proton.
GFWL: Game uses Games for Windows Live (GFWL), whose Marketplace/online sign-in has been dead since 2022. Install the offline GFWL redistributable, then apply an xliveless-style local-replacement fix (drop the replacement xlive.dll alongside the game) to launch offline and skip the dead sign-in overlay; otherwise the GFWL login prompt can stall on first launch. PCGamingWiki's GFWL page documents the legitimate fix.
Controller: No native controller support and very strong, non-disable-able mouse acceleration — you must build a Steam Input gamepad layout (gyro + right trackpad as mouse). There is no in-game FOV slider either (per WSGF).
The one thing to know
Supply your own copy: Delisted commercial game (licence expired).
Launcher: Bond2012PC.exe is the game executable.
GFWL: Needs the offline GFWL redistributable plus an xliveless-style local-replacement fix to launch reliably and skip the dead sign-in; use a recent GE-Proton.
Controller: No native controller support and very strong mouse acceleration — bind a Steam Input gamepad layout (gyro + right trackpad as mouse) for a playable FPS control scheme.
Display: No in-game FOV slider (per WSGF); a community config tweak is the only way to widen it.
Note: deckport links nothing.

Get the artwork
deckport never hosts game images. Open this game on SteamGridDB, pick
the cover / hero / logo / icon you like, and drop them into the
game folder under .deckport-art/ before you push it to the
Deck. The importer files them under the right names automatically.
Run it on your Deck
Two files: the one-time importer (deckport.py) in your
Deck's home folder, and this game's install helper. Copy the game
into ~/Games and run the helper with Steam closed — it
writes the recipe (binary, launch options, Proton version)
and registers the shortcut with artwork.
