About
THUG Pro is a free fan-made mod for Tony Hawk's Underground 2 that reunites nearly all levels, skaters, and game modes from the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 through Tony Hawk's Underground 2 series in a single package. Built by a dedicated community over many years, it adds online multiplayer, level editor features, and regular updates. It requires an owned installation of THUG2 to run and is distributed as a patch from thugpro.com. The project has been one of the most active Tony Hawk fan communities for over a decade.

⚙ Setup notes
Prerequisite: THUG Pro requires an existing installation of Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (THUG2). Install THUG2 first (GOG or disc copy).
Install: Run the THUG Pro installer/patcher from thugpro.com (setup is THUGProSetup.exe); when prompted, point it at your THUG2 Game folder. dotnet46 must be installed into the prefix via protontricks for the launcher/installer to run.
Launch: Launch with THUGProLauncher.exe, NOT THUGPro.exe directly — the bare .exe will not work.
Proton: Proton-GE (latest stable) is recommended; the Caffe runner in Bottles has also been reported working.
Display: Expect a black screen for ~60 seconds on first launch before the game appears.
Controller: Set your gamepad bindings in the launcher's Gamepad Binding tab BEFORE booting the actual game, or you won't be able to control it. From that same tab, pressing CTRL+ALT+D enables Debug mode, which can also disable the launcher's auto-update check so it stops hanging on each run.
The one thing to know
Supply your own copy: Requires a legitimately owned copy of Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (THUG2) — available on GOG or from original disc.
Install: Install THUG2 under the same Proton prefix first, then apply the THUG Pro patch. dotnet46 via protontricks is mandatory.
Launch: Always launch via THUGProLauncher.exe, not the bare exe.
Display: Black screen on startup for ~60 seconds is normal.
Controller: Debug mode (CTRL+ALT+D in Gamepad Binding) prevents update-check hang on each boot.

Get the artwork
deckport never hosts game images. Open this game on SteamGridDB, pick
the cover / hero / logo / icon you like, and drop them into the
game folder under .deckport-art/ before you push it to the
Deck. The importer files them under the right names automatically.
Run it on your Deck
Two files: the one-time importer (deckport.py) in your
Deck's home folder, and this game's install helper. Copy the game
into ~/Games and run the helper with Steam closed — it
writes the recipe (binary, launch options, Proton version)
and registers the shortcut with artwork.
